The arabian desert is so harsh, yet so sublime. One of the most hostile places i've ever been too and one of the most beautiful as well. Our short escape from Dubai into the neighboring deserts offers us respite and relief from the manmade environment. The following few, martian-like photographs were taken at Mileiha, a historical site within the Emirate of Sharjah. This place has a deep geological history which can be easily understood by the fossils scattered across this landscape. Hopefully this special place can continue to be preserved and respected.
