When my wife told me she wanted to visit Bhutan, I told her that I had no idea what she was talking about. What was Bhutan? Was it an actual place or was it a practical joke she was playing on me. It turns out that it is a place and (under very peculiar circumstances) we had the very rare pleasure of traveling to this little known Himalayan kingdom. This photographic record of mine details the few days in this exotic and far away land. This particular collection focuses on some of the people we met and saw on the streets of Thimpu and Paro.
